25 Jan We Want to Hear from You: Ways to Involve Men in Women’s Careers
We hope you enjoyed a restful holiday, a recharged January, and are now refreshed and ready for a productive 2015.
In December our partner, Jill Flynn, was quoted in a feature article in The Wall Street Journal titled “Women at Work: A Guide for Men”.
If you have not yet read the article, we are including the link here.
The article, by Joanne Lipman, is written primarily for male readers and focuses on ways that men often misunderstand women in the workplace and includes advice on how men can be more supportive of women’s careers.
We have received many responses to the article, both positive and negative. As a result, we want to hear from you about two specific questions:
- In what additional ways do men misunderstand women in the workplace that were not addressed in The Wall Street Journal article?
- What are your thoughts on the most effective ways to get male colleagues and superiors truly engaged in helping women move their careers forward?
Please email all responses to Leadership@FlynnHeath.com.
Thank you for your thoughts on this topic. We look forward to hearing from you!
